The Ellypse, unveiled in 2002, heralded a new era of harmony between the car and the environment.
A smooth exterior design and minimalist interior provided both charm and sophistication. Illustrating Renault’s commitment to sustainable development, its architecture favoured easy removal and recycling of components at the end of the car’s life-cycle.
Ellypse was equipped with swing doors allowing full access to either row of seats at any one time. Slim seats maximised space in the cabin with comfort coming from soft and springy upholstery thanks to the use of memory foam.
