Presented for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show in 1996, Fiftie was a tribute to the legendary Renault 4CV, celebrating its 50th Anniversary.
A cheeky, yet simplistic design, the Fiftie conveyed the natural spontaneity and harmony of the era it was designed to honour. The Fiftie was created using carbon bodywork and an aluminium platform lifted straight from the Renault Sport Spider.
To the interior, materials such as rattan, linen and cotton were used in order to make the space feel more natural. The seats were fixed in position in the Fiftie, and the driver set their perfect driving position thanks to the reach adjustable steering column and pedal unit. The dashboard opened like a piano with only vital driving data visible – warning lights were ergonomically fitted to the steering wheel.
